Hello, everyone! I hope this post finds you all in good health and high spirits. It’s been quite a whirlwind of a few weeks for me, so I thought I’d catch you up on everything that’s been happening in my life lately. This post outlines updates about my life, health, and newest projects. Are you ready?
On September 5th, I had an epic five-hour livestream where I dove into gearing up my Holy Priest for Mythic+ dungeons and raiding in World of Warcraft. It was a blast! I tackled a lot of content, got several pieces of upgraded gear, and even though there were quite a few deaths, it was all in good fun. Unfortunately, the next morning, I woke up feeling like I’d been hit by a truck. With a high fever, a relentless cough, and headaches, it quickly became clear that I was dealing with something serious.
My condition has kept me from streaming lately, which has been a bummer. But I’m hopeful I’ll be back at it soon once I’m feeling better. Your patience and support mean the world to me!
On September 10th, we had a family emergency when our toddler took a tumble and hit her head. It was a scary moment, but thankfully, after a visit to the ER and some observation, she was okay, and the bruise wasn’t as bad as we initially feared.
That same day marked the end of my second college quarter, and I’m thrilled to share that I maintained my 4.0 GPA! It’s been a challenging yet rewarding journey, and I’m really proud of this accomplishment. The new quarter started the next day, and I’ve been diligently working on my assignments, getting everything turned in except for a few discussions, which I’ll tackle over the coming weeks.
We hit a snag when our internet was shut off on September 14th due to a missed payment. We gave T-Mobile’s 5G home internet a try, but unfortunately, it wasn’t a good fit for us. I’m looking forward to getting our regular ISP back up and running soon. I’ll be sharing a detailed blog post about our experience with T-Mobile’s 5G Home Internet next week, so stay tuned for that!
On a brighter note, I’ve been diving into some coding projects. I followed a tutorial to create a background color flipper using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Check it out here and let me know what you think!
Additionally, I’ve been making great progress on the Harry Potter roleplay message board I’m building on ProBoards. While I won’t be revealing a preview just yet, I’m excited to share that I’ve successfully written a script to manage and display house points. It’s been a rewarding challenge, and I can’t wait to show off the final product!
As you can see, these life, health, and new projects updates have certainly thrown some curveballs lately, but I’m hopeful and excited about the future. I appreciate all your support and patience during this time. I’m looking forward to getting back to streaming, finishing up my coding projects, and sharing more updates with you all.
Thanks for sticking with me through this rollercoaster! Until next time, take care and stay awesome.
